Patrice "DJ Manik" McBride has a colorful background. Born in Philadelphia, Manik bounced around several states before landing back in Philly. Raised in a family of musicians, he's always had an ear for good music. He was introduced to Hip Hop by his father back the late 80's, and fell in love with it.

Manik started DJing in his teens and has been beating-down dance floors professionally ever since. He is a prime-time player in Philly’'s vibrant night life community. He holds down several long-term residencies in the city, and has blessed crowds up and down the East Coast. From ritzy social affairs to grimy Hip Hop venues,to the biggest college bashes up at Penn State, Manik has become a favorite among the fun and sexy from ATL up to NYC.
